Animal shelters are legally required to keep basic records of animals. They provide the records to animal protection authorities.
Animal records application for shelters enables recording of captured or seized animals and their documents.
Enables their management and basic search. It also offers the ability to keep basic data about the animal, information on veterinary care and medical records, incidents, incurred costs, feeding rations, time spent in the shelter, and various other records needed from intake to release.
In practice, the application is capable of providing all data equivalent to the current paper records.

The prescribed basic records according to the State Veterinary Administration (SVS) mean that the shelter operator must keep and be able to provide animal protection authorities with the following information and documents
List of admitted animals including number, species, description with identification marks, weight, date and place of finding, or information on their original owners.
List of released animals and their new owners, including the date of transfer, the address where the animals will be kept, or the places where they were re-released into their original environment.
Records of the animal’s health status, health checks, and veterinary procedures. Records of animals escaping from the shelter. Death or euthanasia of the animal.
